US Cafe is a local fast casual establishment in Smyrna, GA that has been serving fresh meals in the area for over 30 years. Our mission is to honor our guests' decision to dine with us by providing world-class service, great-tasting food to their order, in a clean, comfortable environment. As a line cook at US Cafe, you will have the chance to work with a talented team and learn valuable skills while preparing and cooking delicious All-American fare - burgers, chicken wings, hot dogs, fries, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a sanitized and well-organized kitchen.
- Preparing workstations for cooking.
- Preparing and maintaining kitchen equipment.
- Checking the quality of the ingredients.
- Preparing cooking ingredients using various techniques.
- Cooking food using various culinary techniques.
- Arranging food and ensuring appealing presentation.
- Manage food storage, stock, and ingredient orders.
- Following and adhering to our standards.
- After service clean up of food station.
- Comply with sanitation regulations and food safety standards.
Requirements:
- Must have prior experience as a cook.
- Must be skilled in operating kitchen equipment.
- Must be skilled in various cooking techniques.
- Must know and follow sanitation procedures.
- Must showcase teamwork and communication skills.
- Must showcase great organizational skills.
- Must be able to multitask and act quickly.
