What You'll be Doing:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and produce comprehensive reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team processes
• Develop and implement school counseling curriculum (academic, career, mental health, and transitions)
• Support MTSS/RTI frameworks using data-based decision-making
• Collaborate and consult with teachers, families, staff, and community agencies
• Collect, analyze, and monitor student data to guide interventions and progress
• Engage in ongoing professional development, trainings, and maintain a portfolio aligned with NASP standards
• Coordinate across school sites while supporting internship requirements and overall program effectiveness

• Working days: 5 days per week / 180 days per year

  • Placements available across participating YVSPC districts (Grandview, Sunnyside, Wapato, Mabton, Othello and Ephrata)
  • Opportunities to work in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
  • Full-time internship aligned with the academic school year

What You'll Need:

• Education: Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in School Psychology. Must currently be enrolled in a school psychology grad program through Eastern Washington University or Central Washington University.

Work Environment

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and some fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 50% sitting, 25% walking, and 25% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard free environment.
