Construction Inspector Levels II-III (Anne Arundel County)

EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA) is in search of Construction Inspectors to join our Anne Arundel County pavement team! YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:In your role as a Construction Inspector, your primary duties will include:Conducting thorough inspections of construction sites, including roadways, bridges, tunnels, and facilities, to verify adherence to design specifications and quality standardsDocumenting and reporting any deviations, defects, or issues discovered during inspectionsCollaborating with senior inspectors and project managers to confirm that construction activities meet safety regulations and project requirementsAssisting with the review and interpretation of construction plans, special provisions, and technical documentsMaintaining clear and accurate inspection records and reports for compliance and reporting purposesLearning and applying industry-specific software and tools for inspection and documentationParticipating in team meetings and safety briefings to foster a safe, collaborative work environmentCommunicating effectively with contractors, project stakeholders, and other team members to address construction-related concerns and provide guidanceCORE REQUIREMENTS:To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and abilities:A valid driver's license and clean driving record3-10 years of experience A high school diploma or a high school equivalent certificationStrong communication skills, both oral and writtenMD SHA Temporary Traffic Control Manager; Maryland Department of Environment Responsible Personnel; OSHA 10 Construction Safety Training; and Mid-Atlantic Region Technician Certification Program (MARTCP) Soils & Aggregate, Asphalt Field Testing Technician Grade I, Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I, and Pavement Marking.
