Production Laborer

Location: Holland, MI
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday
Pay: $18.50/hour

Job Summary

We're looking for dependable and hardworking Production Laborers to join our team. This position is responsible for packaging aluminum edging products for shipment and ensuring finished goods meet quality standards. The ideal candidate is comfortable performing repetitive tasks, working with long materials, and maintaining productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Production Laborer, your core responsibilities will include:

1. Packaging Finished Products: Package 8-foot and 16-foot aluminum edging pieces into boxes according to customer and company specifications.
2. Inspecting Product Quality: Visually inspect aluminum edging for defects, damage, or inconsistencies before packaging.
3. Preparing Orders for Shipment: Ensure finished products are properly packaged, labeled, and ready for shipping.
4. Maintaining Production Flow: Work efficiently to keep up with production schedules and customer demands.
5. Keeping Work Areas Organized: Maintain a clean and organized workstation while following all safety procedures.

In addition, you may assist with moving materials, organizing finished products, and supporting other production functions as needed.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

1. Previous manufacturing, production, packaging, or warehouse experience preferred.
2. Ability to work with long aluminum products safely and efficiently.
3. Ability to follow work instructions and quality standards.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
5. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

1. Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver aluminum edging products and packaging materials throughout the shift.
2. Ability to safely handle and package 8-foot and 16-foot aluminum edging pieces.
3. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
4. Ability to perform repetitive motions using hands, arms, and upper body.
5. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and maintain production pace.
