Rate: $55,000 $90,000/ Annum

Job Description

Under the general supervision of the Chief Clinical Laboratory Scientist, obtains and processes patient specimens and performs various clinical laboratory tests for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Analyzes, interprets, and reports test results and ensures accuracy of same. Verifies tests as necessary; directly notifies appropriate personnel of critical results and provides proper documentation. Provides diagnostic laboratory services for the care of neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

Required qualifications: Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License California upon hire Or California Clinical Chemist Scientist License upon hire Or California Clinical Immunohematologist Scientist License upon hire Or California Clinical Microbiologist Scientist License upon hire Or California Clinical Toxicologist Scientist License upon hire Or California Clinical Cytogeneticist Scientist License upon hire Or California Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist License upon hire Or California Clinical Hematology Scientist License upon hire Or California Clinical Histocompatibility Scientist License upon hire Or California Clinical Laboratory Scientist Biochemistry Special License upon hire.

Preferred qualifications: 2 years' Clinical laboratory experience.
