Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform circulating RN duties across a 17-room operating suite supporting a high-volume surgical program
• Assist with a broad range of procedures including total joints, spine fusions, craniotomies, robotic procedures, general surgery, urology, and cardiovascular/open heart cases
• Operate and assist with specialized surgical equipment including electrosurgical units, Neptune suction systems, and patient positioning devices
• Utilize the Meditech documentation system to accurately record intraoperative patient care
• Collaborate with Surgery Board Runners and interdisciplinary surgical team members to ensure efficient room flow and patient safety
• Apply critical thinking and strong customer service skills in a fast-paced surgical environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• CST National Certificate required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a circulating RN in the operating room
• Previous experience circulating in orthopedic and spine surgical procedures
• Strong critical thinking and customer service skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with neurosurgical procedures including craniotomies
• Experience with general and robotic-assisted surgical procedures
• Familiarity with Meditech or similar electronic documentation systems
