Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, demonstrating expertise in Med/Surg practices and procedures.

Shift Details

• Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: 24
• Call Requirements: As needed

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 44
• Patient Ratios: 1:6
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Meditech

Job Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for the following:

• Providing direct patient care while adhering to safety protocols and standards.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation within the EHR system.
• Monitoring patients' conditions and responding to changes in health status.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educating patients and their families regarding health conditions and care plans.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in Med/Surg nursing.
• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with Meditech or similar electronic health record systems is required.
