Production Machinist - 3rd Shift

Zimmer Biomet seeks a Production Machinist for third-shift operations in Warsaw, Indiana. The role involves setting up CNC machines, monitoring product quality, and performing precision measurements to meet manufacturing standards in a cellular production environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and prepare CNC lathes, mills, and machining centers for production runs
- Verify product dimensions and quality using precision measurement instruments
- Log production data via DPI terminal and maintain count records
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives
- Perform additional cell duties including testing, finishing, or polishing as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years CNC lathe or mill experience, or equivalent vocational training
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools: micrometers, calipers, comparators, indicators
- Ability to lift repeatedly up to 60 pounds
- Machine setup capability on lathes, mills, or machining centers
- Team-oriented mindset and cellular work environment experience
Compensation: $500 sign-on bonus upon 90-day completion
