About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Reinsurance to take on a pivotal role in the development and expansion of its reinsurance and medical stop-loss platform. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading the strategy, structuring, and placement of reinsurance solutions that cater to the needs of risk-bearing healthcare organizations, including ACOs and other value-based care entities. This senior position demands a professional with a strong background in reinsurance and medical stop-loss, as well as a proven track record of building and maintaining robust relationships with reinsurers, carriers, and underwriting partners in the healthcare or specialty insurance markets. Experience in structuring complex insurance or reinsurance transactions is also a key requirement. The Head of Reinsurance will play a critical role in defining the future of healthcare risk financing in the US, with a focus on premium growth and the potential for significant impact. The role is CEO-facing and requires a candidate who can not only meet the technical demands of the position but also contribute to the strategic vision of the company. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the healthcare and insurance industries, be adept at navigating the complexities of the market, and be able to drive the company's reinsurance and medical stop-loss initiatives to new heights.
