About The Role We’re seeking a highlyorganized, hospitality-minded Meeting & Events Planner tolead day-to-day event delivery and guide a team of Event Coordinators and Meeting& Event Associates. You’ll partner across Workplace Experience, Facilities, IT/AV,Security, Catering, Executive Business Partners, and other teams to deliverthoughtful, inclusive, on-brand events in a fast-moving environment. What You’ll Do Event Planning & Operations Leadplanning and on-site execution for internal and external meetings,workshops, executive and VIP gatherings, recurring programs, and workplace events. Ownend-to-end logistics, including scheduling, catering, A/V, security, roomsetup, staffing, signage, arrivals, guest flow, deliveries, and day‑of readiness. Create and approve project plans, timelines, run‑of‑show documents, staffingassignments, floor plans, event materials, and post‑event recaps. Leadpre‑event meetings, anticipate needs, troubleshoot issues, andensure events meet safety, accessibility, service, and brand standards. Maintainevent spaces, storage, furniture, supplies, and coverage plans for recurringprogramming. Team Leadership & Collaboration Lead, coach, and prioritize the daily work of Event Coordinators and Meeting & Event Associates. Set expectations, delegate work, balance workloads, remove blockers, reviewdeliverables, and build team capability through feedback and mentorship. Coordinatecross‑functional teams and external vendors, aligning roles,timelines, budgets, contracts, and accountability for consistent execution. Build trusted stakeholder relationships and communicate clearly with clients,leaders, coworkers, vendors, and partner teams. Process Improvement Buildscalable workflows, templates, playbooks, staffing models, and servicestandards; use event feedback to improve handoffs, communication,and quality. Translatebusiness needs into practical programs and operating rhythms as a trustedworkplace partner. WhatYou’ll Need Applicants must be currentlyauthorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorshipnow or in the future 5+ years of experience in event planning, meeting coordination, workplaceoperations, hospitality, or a related field. 2+years of experience leading, mentoring, or functionally managing team membersin a fast‑paced service environment. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, timelines, and vendorswhile delegating work, prioritizing competing requests, and maintaining a highbar for execution. Strongorganizational, communication, hospitality, and people‑management skills, withexperience managing vendors, contracts, budgets, catering, and cross‑functionalrelationships. Nice to Have Experience in a tech startup, high‑growth company, or similarly fast‑pacedenvironment, including building or scaling event operations andservice standards. Producer experience for meetings, events, or workplace programs. Familiarity with A/V, video conferencing, sound, and basic event technology coordination. Why Choose CBRE? The minimum salary for the Meeting and Events Planner position is $100,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Meeting and Events Planner position is $110,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
