Payroll Coordinator
Payroll Coordinator Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher A minimum of five (5) years' successful payroll experience, preferably in an Illinois public school setting Extensive experience with payroll and accounting software, preferably Tyler Technology's School ERP Pro (Infinite Visions) Highly skilled and accurate in calculations involved in payroll preparation, with a strong math aptitude Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace, with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred Knowledge of the Illinois Teachers' Retirement System (TRS) or Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) Excellent customer service, organization, prioritization, analytical, and interpersonal skills Sound judgment, a high level of trustworthiness, and respect for confidentiality Ability to work quickly and accurately in a deadline-driven environment with frequent interruptions Willingness to learn and implement new technologies, procedures, and processes Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability and willingness to work overtime during high needs times of the year as directed
