Position Overview Unit 18 Pre-Six Lecturer in Latin American Studies, UC San Diego. Salary range: $70,977-$82,284 (subject to UC academic salary scales). Job location: San Diego, CA. Responsibilities Effective instruction of undergraduate lower and upper division lecture courses, teaching classes in accordance with course objectives and published schedules, advising students on academic matters, and maintaining an active interest in advances and current thinking in their subject area. Qualifications Basic qualifications (required at time of application): MA in Sociology or an MS, MSW, or JD in related fields. At least two years of relevant experience to the course(s) they are applying to teach. Preferred qualifications: PhD or EdD in Latin American Studies.
