School of Public Health Lecturer Pool 2026-2027

Overview The School of Public Health in the College of Health and Human Services at San Diego State University is accepting applications for its part‑time lecturer pool for the 2026‑2027 academic year (Job no: 557041). Lecturers will be engaged in teaching during Fall, Spring, and potentially Summer sessions on short notice and will be evaluated for renewal after satisfactory evaluations. Initial appointments are typically one semester or one academic year, with renewal contingent on satisfactory evaluations and continued availability. The Fall term runs mid‑August to late‑December; the Spring term runs mid‑January to mid‑May. Summer session opportunities may also be available. Responsibilities Applicants will deliver instruction in the above areas, prepare course materials, and participate in ongoing faculty duties such as course development and student advising as expected for lecturer positions. Qualifications Graduate degree in Public Health or related discipline. University teaching experience. Demonstrated currency in subject matter. Minimum of two years’ post‑Master’s related experience.
