Voice Actor – Italian Speakers (AI Training)
What if your voice could directly shape how AI communicates with millions of Italian speakers around the world? We’re looking for professional Italian-speaking voice actors and voice-over artists to record high-quality speech samples and evaluate AI-generated audio — helping frontier AI systems sound genuinely human.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. The work is AI-related but does not involve voice cloning. If you have a trained voice, a quality microphone, and a passion for craft, this is your opportunity to put your skills to work on something that matters.
Contract Details
- Organization: Alignerr
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote
- Schedule: Fully asynchronous — work on your own time
What You’ll Do
- Record high-quality voice samples in Italian based on provided scripts and prompts
- Evaluate AI-generated voice outputs for naturalness, pronunciation, tone, and expressiveness
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to improve the quality of AI-generated speech
- Review and refine scripts to ensure clarity and natural, authentic delivery
- Work independently on task-based assignments at your own pace
Who You Are
- Fluent in Italian — native or near-native speaker
- Experienced in voice acting, narration, audiobook recording, dubbing, or similar fields
- Owner of a high-quality microphone and access to a quiet recording environment
- Able to deliver clear, expressive, and engaging vocal performances across a range of styles
- Detail-oriented when assessing pronunciation, rhythm, tone, and overall speech quality
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
Nice to Have
- Experience in broadcast, podcast production, or professional studio recording
- Familiarity with audio editing tools and DAW software
- Exposure to AI tools or voice evaluation workflows
- Ability to adapt vocal style and register across different content types
Why Join Us
- Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs and Fortune 500 teams
- Fully remote and flexible — record and review on your own schedule, from anywhere
- Freelance autonomy with the structure and clarity of meaningful, task-based work
- Make a direct, tangible impact on how AI understands and produces natural human speech
- High performers gain visibility into new programs and opportunities to mentor incoming contributors
- Gain hands-on exposure to how advanced AI language and voice models are built and trained
