Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Pediatric Cardiac Surgery

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day Shift: 3x12s (07:00 AM - 07:30 PM)

Job Description: Seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with experience in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery. This role involves working closely with surgical teams in a dynamic hospital environment, ensuring high standards of patient care and surgical assistance.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgical teams during pediatric cardiac surgical procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment and manage surgical instruments and equipment.
• Monitor the condition of patients, assisting with care and responding promptly to needs.
• Provide support with cardiopulmonary bypass and ECMO cannulation as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• CST Certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent surgical technologist experience, with strong preference for pediatric cardiac surgery.
• Adult cardiac surgery experience will be considered.
• Experience with cardiopulmonary bypass and ECMO management is necessary.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19; no exemptions accepted.
