Job Description

Job Title: Manufacturing Systems Administrator Location: Perry, GA Type: Contract Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 Work Model: Onsite – onsite Hours: 40.0

Responsibilities

Administer, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing systems and related hardware/software.
Monitor system performance and resolve issues to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Install system updates, patches, and approved software enhancements.
Support end users by diagnosing and resolving manufacturing system issues.
Assist with system integrations, configuration changes, and equipment connectivity.
Develop and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides.
Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams to resolve technical issues.
Perform system backups and assist with data recovery when required.
Participate in disaster recovery planning and recovery testing.
Conduct routine system health checks and audits to identify and correct operational issues.
Maintain user accounts, permissions, and system security in accordance with company policies.
Communicate system status, maintenance activities, and incidents to management.
Ensure compliance with company policies related to cybersecurity, data integrity, and change management.
Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to other team members.

Requirements

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or business systems.
Experience troubleshooting Windows-based systems, networking fundamentals, and hardware.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a production environment.
Experience with MES, SCADA, PLC-connected systems, or industrial automation (preferred).
Experience with SQL databases and reporting tools (preferred).
Knowledge of barcode printing, vision systems, or manufacturing peripherals (preferred).
Experience working in a food or regulated manufacturing environment (preferred).
