Accounting Operations Supervisor

About the Opportunity
Our Company is a fast-scaling fintech and business operations platform supporting mid-market and enterprise clients across the U.S. We specialize in streamlining financial back-office functions—accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and compliance—with automated workflows and real-time reporting. Our Accounting Operations team ensures precision, scalability, and audit-readiness across client portfolios, and we’re hiring a sharp, systems-oriented leader to supervise daily finance operations with excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including AP/AR processing, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close support for multiple client accounts.
- Lead and mentor a team of 5–8 accounting associates; ensure SLA adherence, quality control, and process compliance.
- Optimize workflows by identifying automation opportunities in ERP systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and implement standard operating procedures.
- Partner with Finance and Audit teams to prepare client-ready reporting packages, resolve discrepancies, and enforce GAAP compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement by monitoring KPIs (cycle time, error rate, audit findings) and implementing corrective actions.
- Act as escalation point for client finance queries and bridge communication between finance, client success, and IT teams.
