Description/Notes:

Direct and manage the District’s Instructional Technology and Library Services programs. Provide leadership in instructional technology integration, digital learning, library services, instructional materials management, and innovative instructional practices to support high-quality teaching and learning experiences for all students and staff. Ensure equitable access to instructional materials, digital resources, emerging technologies, information literacy resources, and professional learning opportunities aligned to district goals.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:
Master's degree (in Education, Library Science, or Technology-related field preferred)
Valid Texas teaching certificate required
Principal or comparable administrative certification preferred
Candidate must have a satisfactory outcome of the fingerprinting check/background check

Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of instructional technology integration and digital learning platforms
Knowledge of library and information science
Knowledge of purchasing, bidding, and contracting procedures
Ability to develop and deliver professional learning for staff
Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to support and lead district-wide instructional innovation initiatives
Knowledge of emerging technologies, digital citizenship, and artificial intelligence applications in
education
Ability to analyze program effectiveness and implement continuous improvement processes
