Position Overview

We invite you to join our esteemed team of imaging specialists as a skilled and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound evaluations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout procedures, providing clear, compassionate explanations at every turn
• Engage closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the highest quality of diagnostic imaging
• Maintain and operate advanced imaging equipment, addressing any malfunctions swiftly
• Thoroughly document procedures and manage patient records in the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound technology and imaging methodologies

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Active certification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficient in sonographic imaging techniques with excellent patient positioning skills
• Strong communication abilities and interpersonal skills
