Job Description

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patients and devise personalized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-informed methods to bolster patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and day-to-day activities
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to provide thorough, supportive care
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach techniques and strategies to patients and caregivers that facilitate ongoing progress in their personal environments
• Monitor Progress and Document Outcomes: Keep detailed records of clinical performance and modify therapy plans accordingly to ensure patients remain on track

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
• Ongoing education or additional certifications are encouraged and actively supported

Certifications

• Possession of an active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must
