As an Ultrasound Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services in ultrasound to assist in diagnosis and treatment. You will work independently in a highly complex, acute care inpatient setting, performing US procedures and producing images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.

• Perform ultrasound exams and procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Assist physicians and medical staff during exams and procedures
• Complete documentation for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams
• Maintain proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures
• Review previous studies, reports, and health information to ensure timely performance and reporting
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as part of the organization's strategic plan

Requirements:

• American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in a minimum of one category (OB/Gyn or Abdomen/Small Parts)
• Certification in an advanced category or ten years of experience in advanced practice
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• Need 2 years experience in setting
• Ability to work beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts
• On-call work may be required
• Physical ability to lift, sit, stand, walk, and perform other physical tasks as needed
