Construction Laborer
$20 - $22 per hourSkillforce
Skillforce is hiring Construction Laborers for ongoing project work in Greenville South Carolina. As a Construction Laborer you will be responsible for supporting the trades on commercial construction jobsites. If you have jobsite experience and reliable transportation apply now!
Construction Laborer Pay:
- $20.00 to $22.00 per hour based on your experience skill set and certifications.
- W-2 employment with weekly pay.
Construction Laborer Schedule:
- Monday through Friday on a morning shift.
- Daytime hours on commercial projects across the Greenville area.
- Steady ongoing work for dependable laborers.
Construction Laborer Responsibilities:
- Load unload and move building materials tools and equipment around the jobsite.
- Keep work areas walkways and laydown areas clean and clear of debris.
- Support carpenters electricians plumbers and other trades with daily tasks.
- Assist with light demolition site cleanup and material staging.
- Carry and stage material on each floor or work area so the trades can keep moving.
- Set up and take down barricades signage and floor protection.
- Use basic hand and power tools under the direction of the crew lead.
- Follow jobsite safety rules and wear the required PPE at all times.
Construction Laborer Qualifications:
- Previous experience working on construction jobsites with commercial work preferred.
- Your own PPE including a hard hat safety glasses a high-visibility vest and work boots.
- A valid drivers license and reliable transportation to jobsites around the Greenville area.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stay on your feet outdoors in changing weather.
- Comfortable taking direction from a crew lead and working as part of a team.
- OSHA 10 OSHA 30 or other safety certifications are a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
