This is a role which involves close interaction with numerous engineering disciplines and hourly functions. Ability to work in a team environment is a must. This position holder must be comfortable in a fast paced, dynamic work environment. Individual must also be detail oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.Role & ResponsibilityTake responsibility for leading all aspects of the implementation of new manufacturing processes and equipment including Concept Review, Preliminary Design Review, Detailed Design Review, procurement, installation and budget managementDefine Functional Requirements, create Statements of Work, and prepare Requests for Quote and all associated documentationWork with Product/Manufacturing Engineering and Assembly Area personnel to determine process and equipment requirementsLead Peer Reviews, PFMEA’s, and EH&S Reviews related to new tooling and equipment changesMaintain document revision control and document all vendor communicationsWork closely with outside vendors and internal groups to maintain project scheduleJob RequirementEducation:BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Chemical, Process, Industrial Engineering, or other related fieldPMP certificationExperience: Prior project management experience including ownership of schedule and budgetProficiency with varied manufacturing concepts such as VSM, 3P, Lean, SPC, Capacity Analysis, JIT, MRP, Kanban, TQM, PM, etc.Experience with Capital Equipment procurement and InstallationFamiliarity with electromechanical production equipmentExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to work independently and proactivelyVaried computer skills including MS Project, and OfficeAdaptability to complete various tasks as business needs changeOtherAll personal information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
