Responsibilities : * Proactively source, development, and maintain commercial banking relationships in Virginia. * Assists with implementing the bank's business plan and keeping management informed of internal resources, market conditions, and competitive pressures. * Identify lending opportunities, structure competitive loan packages, and guide borrowers through the application process. * Manage and grow your loan portfolio with a focus on retention and cross-selling. * Partner with credit, deposit, and operation co-workers to deliver smooth, efficient service to clients. * Identify and explore business development opportunities within the community. * Represent the bank in the community to develop business and promote The First Bank and Trust products and services. Qualifications: * Proven track record in commercial lending production. * Strong knowledge of credit analysis and commercial loan structuring. * Established business and referral network in Virginia. * Entrepreneurial spirit with the discipline to drive results.
