Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct compassionate, comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, and swallowing function
- Develop personalized treatment and discharge plans that empower patients to reach their goals
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to improve communication and swallowing outcomes
- Document patient progress with precision, maintaining compliance with regulations and facility standards
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, patients, and families to ensure seamless, patient-centered care
- Uphold the highest standards of infection control and safety
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or CFY eligibility
- Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
- Passion for making a meaningful difference in patients' lives
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- In-depth knowledge of speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Skilled in patient evaluation and individualized treatment planning
- Proficient in swallowing therapy and dysphagia management
- Strong clinical documentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Adaptable problem-solving in a fast-paced rehab environment
