The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of apartment communities, common areas, amenities, offices, and vacant apartments. This position helps ensure Northstar Properties communities are clean, welcoming, safe, and maintained to company standards. The Housekeeper may travel between Northstar properties as needed to support cleaning and property needs.

• Clean and maintain vacant apartments to prepare them for new residents.
• Maintain cleanliness of property grounds, including picking up trash and debris
• Clean and maintain common areas, hallways, breezeways, stairwells, clubhouses, offices, fitness centers, laundry rooms, and other community areas.
• Clean and maintain swimming pool areas, restrooms, and other amenities.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, wipe down, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Clean windows, doors, walls, baseboards, fixtures, appliances, cabinets, and other surfaces as needed.
• Remove trash and debris from assigned areas and dispose of it properly.
• Assist with cleaning and preparing apartments during move-outs and makereadies.
• Maintain a clean and attractive appearance throughout the property.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, property damage, or other concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Assist the maintenance and property teams with cleaning and special projects as needed.
• Use cleaning products and equipment properly and according to manufacturer instructions.
• Follow Safety Data Sheet (SDS/MSDS) requirements for cleaning chemicals and products.
• Properly use and maintain company-provided cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Keep cleaning supplies and storage areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Travel between Northstar Properties as assigned to assist with cleaning and housekeeping needs.
• Work cooperatively with the maintenance, landscape, and office teams.
• Communicate professionally with residents, employees, vendors, and visitors.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
• Follow Northstar Properties policies, procedures, and standards at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Housekeeper is expected to demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, efficiency, professionalism, teamwork, and pride in their work. The Housekeeper is responsible for helping maintain clean, safe, attractive, and welcoming communities that meet Northstar Properties' standards for residents, employees, and prospective residents.
