Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Adventist Health Twin Cities - Westways

Templeton, CA
Registered Nurse – Acute Care

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:

  • Current RN license in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire
  • One year recent acute care RN experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a professional manner.
  • Coordinate and delegate patient care responsibilities among the healthcare team.
  • Ensure compliance with established Standards of Nursing Practice.
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in all interactions.
  • Document patient care activities clearly and concisely.
  • Recognize and respond to signs of cardiac or respiratory distress.

Compliance / Notes:

  • Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS.
  • Cerner experience is required.
