Ecommerce Analyst

We're looking for a strategic, hands-on Ecommerce Media Manager to own Amazon retail media strategy and performance. This role will partner closely with brand, sales, finance, and agency teams to drive profitable growth across Amazon while shaping broader category and go-to-market strategies. What You'll Do Performance Media Leadership Lead Amazon Sponsored Ads (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display) and Amazon DSP strategy in partnership with agency teams. Conduct hands-on audits of campaign structure, keyword strategy, bidding, budget allocation, and search term optimization. Identify opportunities to improve impression share, keyword coverage, and offensive/defensive search strategies. Optimize full-funnel media programs across search, competitor conquesting, prospecting, and retargeting. Guide agency partners on budget allocation, pacing, efficiency vs. growth strategies, TACoS, blended ROAS, and new-to-brand customer acquisition. Diagnose and resolve performance fluctuations, including impression declines, conversion rate changes, Buy Box challenges, and other key performance drivers. Partner with Sales and Finance to analyze weekly business performance and forecast media-attributed revenue. Category & Growth Strategy Develop Amazon category growth strategies, including assortment planning, hero SKU prioritization, and price-pack architecture. Identify whitespace opportunities and competitive advantages within the category. Translate Amazon search behavior into actionable consumer and category insights. Partner with Brand teams to inform product innovation and roadmap planning based on demand signals. Build quarterly and annual media investment strategies aligned with business priorities. Develop executive performance dashboards and lead monthly end-to-end Amazon business reviews. Brand & Cross-Functional Leadership Ensure Amazon retail media strategies are aligned with broader brand marketing initiatives. Partner with Brand Demand Generation and National Media teams to identify opportunities for amplification and growth. Provide strategic input into: Product Detail Page (PDP) creative and A+ Content Product launch strategies Promotional planning Connecting Amazon performance insights to broader marketing and business initiatives What We're Looking For 5-8+ years of experience in Amazon performance marketing or retail media. Hands-on expertise with Amazon Ads Console and/or Amazon DSP. Experience managing and partnering with external media agencies. Strong knowledge of: Amazon keyword strategy and search term optimization Budget allocation and media investment frameworks New-to-brand acquisition metrics and retail media KPIs Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Brand, Sales, and Finance teams. Strong commercial acumen with a clear understanding of how media investments impact business performance and P&L. Preferred Qualifications Experience within CPG or consumer goods brands. Familiarity with Vendor Central. Experience with retail media platforms such as Pacvue, Skai, or similar bid management tools. Knowledge of Amazon analytics and performance tools including Stackline, Circana, or comparable platforms.
