Job Overview:

Pay Range: $25.00hr - $30.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of low voltage systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to operate fleet vehicle in a safe manner at all times.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

• Install appropriate devices and dismantle or reconstruct equipment as required.
• Work safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, and loss of unused materials.
• Maintain a clean workspace by removing installation debris.
• Contact customers prior to scheduled installation dates to verify schedules.
• Prepare estimates in accordance with prescribed instructions or directions from supervisors.
• Follow proper schematic wiring diagrams and hook-up procedures.
• Test system operations to the signal-receiving center to properly establish service.
• Read building, electrical, and sprinkler blueprints as required.
• Coordinate installations with emergency departments and handle necessary records for notification of emergency calls.
• Manage installation teams on larger projects when necessary.
• Coach and mentor less experienced installers.
