Job Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform accurate plan take-offs, blueprint reviews, and field take-offs.
- Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Prepare project estimates using estimating software such as e4Clicks and RS Means.
- Ensure project costs and bid estimates are accurate and properly projected.
- Support proposal preparation, negotiations, and estimating schedules.
- Assist with change orders, RFIs, contract documentation, and project administration.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
- Review project schedules, costs, and status reports to support project success.
- Maintain construction documentation and project records.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external representatives.
- Associate degree in Construction Management, Technical Studies, Administrative Studies, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in construction estimating or project management.
- Experience reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications for renovation and new construction projects.
- Experience using e4Clicks and RS Means required.
- Knowledge of government contracting processes and regulations preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to meet background and security requirements for project access.
