Maintenance Technician II

This role involves setup, operation, and maintenance of complex automated manufacturing equipment at a facility in Hunt Valley, Maryland. The technician will perform routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment controls in a regulated, high-volume production environment supporting life-science analytical technologies.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot highly complex automated manufacturing equipment
Perform mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance
Control machine settings and monitor production line performance for quality and downtime
Complete work orders, preventive maintenance scheduling, and equipment installation tasks
Assist with root-cause analysis and continuous improvement projects for equipment utilization

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Two years relevant maintenance or technician experience
Mechanical aptitude for equipment changeover and preventive maintenance
Proficiency with pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems
Ability to read gauges, jigs, and fixtures for close tolerances
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Willingness to work second shift and overtime as needed
