Event Marketing CoordinatorThe Event Marketing Coordinator supports both the hotel's events and marketing functions. This position books and services small events in the hotel's dining outlets and banquet spaces, ensuring an exceptional guest experience from initial planning through execution. Such a role also supports the Marketing department on a variety of projects, including content creation and photo/video shoots, social media community engagement, online review monitoring and response, and related administrative tasks. This is a hands-on position suited to a detail-oriented professional with a strong interest in events, hospitality, and marketing.WHAT WE OFFERPay range: $25.00 per hour401(k) with company matchingComplimentary Employee MealsExclusive worldwide Hilton employee travel discount program... and moreDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESBook, coordinate, and service small events in the hotel's dining outlets and banquet spacesCommunicate with clients to confirm event details, timelines, and special requestsConduct site visits and venue tours with prospective clients, showcasing dining outlets and banquet spaces to secure event bookingsCoordinate with the Culinary and Operations teams to ensure seamless event executionPrepare banquet event orders and maintain accurate booking recordsAssist with photo and video shoots, including scheduling, setup, and on-site coordinationSupport social media efforts by drafting captions, engaging with followers, and tracking engagementMonitor and respond to guest reviews across online platforms in a timely and professional mannerContribute ideas to marketing campaigns, promotions, and brand initiativesMaintain the event and marketing calendarsProvide administrative support, including preparing reports, updating databases, and processing invoicesFacilitate communication between departments to support marketing initiatives and event executionStay current on hospitality and marketing trends and bring new ideas to the teamRepresent the hotel and brand with professionalism at all timesPerform other duties as assigned by ManagementQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferredMinimum of 1-2 years of experience in event planning, catering sales, restaurant private dining, or hotel banquet operationsExperience in guest-facing roles, such as restaurant, hotel, or customer service, demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving skillsExperience handling scheduling, correspondence, and office tasks in a fast-paced environmentExposure to hospitality software (event booking platforms, CRM systems) or social media scheduling and analytics tools preferredStrong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneouslyKnowledge of event planning processes, including booking, client communication, and on-site coordinationAbility to deliver outstanding guest service and resolve issues professionallyStrong written communication skills for drafting captions, event materials, and professional responses to reviewsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Detail-oriented, with strong record-keeping and reporting skillsCreative thinker, able to contribute new ideas for promotions and contentAbility to work independently and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environmentScheduleWork schedules are based on the operational needs of the business. Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required for this position.Physical, Mental, Environmental & Technical DemandsFast-paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint. Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, and twist in the work area. The role involves frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 250lbs. often for extended periods. Must be able to maneuver around property. Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to operate a computer, telephone, and copier. Must have manual dexterity to operate all office equipment.
