Per Diem Burn And Trauma RegistrarRegions Hospital has an opportunity for a per diem Burn and Trauma Registrar join our team!This position is responsible for performing functions associated with maintaining and utilizing Regions Hospital burn, adult, and pediatric trauma registries. These responsibilities include:Validating and ensuring data completeness and accuracyOrdering, collecting, reviewing, and maintaining medical records needed for chart abstractionAssist in submission of burn data to Burn Care Quality Platform (BCQP) registry system.Troubleshooting software/hardware issues related to the Burn registryOther duties as assignedAt Regions Hospital you'll find a warm, diverse group of people who are committed to helping our patients – and each other. Join our team and make good happen!Thank you for considering joining our team at Regions Hospital and being part of something special!Minimum Qualifications:Education and Experience : Completion of an approved two year or four-year Health Information Management or Nursing Program and eligibility for registration through the American Health Information Management Association. 2-3 years of experience with coding and/or abstraction will substitute for the two or four-year Health Information Management Program or Nursing ProgramLicensure/ Registration/ Certification: Within the first 6 months of employment, it is required that the employee take the Trauma Registrar Course, ICD-10 Course Certificate dated within the past 5 years as well as the AAAM Injury Severity Scoring Course if not already completed.About UsAt HealthPartners we believe in the power of good – good deeds and good people working together.
