Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Anaheim, California

A dynamic opportunity is available for a clinical pharmacist skilled in oncology infusion within an outpatient setting. This position requires working night shifts, Monday through Friday, from midnight to 9:00 AM, supporting a team aligned with a prestigious health system in the Los Angeles metro area. The role is ideal for professionals experienced in chemotherapy preparation and administration, with a solid foundation in intravenous (IV) medication verification.


Responsibilities:

• Review and verify IV medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with protocols.
• Apply expertise in USP 797 and USP 800 standards related to sterile compounding and hazardous drug handling.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure safe and effective oncology infusion therapy.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and medication management.
• Support operational needs across multiple outpatient infusion sites in the region.

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with current credentials.
• Experience in chemotherapy and oncology infusion settings required.
• Strong proficiency in IV preparation and checking.
• Knowledge of USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records is preferred.
• Ability to work independently during night shift hours.
