Certified Medical Assistant - Academic Medical Center
Medical University of South Carolina
The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) seeks a Part-Time Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical and educational activities in an academic health center. The CMA will room patients, obtain vitals, prepare exam areas, assist with procedures, administer medications per protocol, and accurately document in the EHR. The role supports faculty, residents, and students in a teaching environment, reinforcing patient education, safety, and infection control. The CMA will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, assist with scheduling and follow-up, and model MUSC values of compassion, inclusion, and community engagement.
