In this role, you'll own all project deliverables, drive schedules, manage risks, and ensure clear communication across engineering, product management, and manufacturing teams, making sure results are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. You'll coordinate resources, maintain project documentation, and present status updates to leadership, while continuously improving project execution through Lean and quality principles — directing and following stated processes for the planning, execution, and delivery of approved Engineering project initiatives through to commercialization.WHAT YOU'LL BUILD & OWNOwn all project deliverables and make sound, timely decisions; maintain timelines, schedule updates, and scope changes; identify, manage, and resolve risks early; adhere to policies, procedures, and standard work processes, reviewing and updating all projects at least weeklyPartner with core team members to develop project schedules, assign tasks and estimated effort within required company program management tools, and clearly communicate roles and responsibilities to each key stakeholderAssist Product Management in completing the project charter — scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing — per the roles and responsibility guidelines in VPG-001Schedule and lead effective cross-functional project team meetings, using the project scheduling tool as the basis for review, recording meeting minutes, updating project tasks, and maintaining orderly documentation, files, and records per established proceduresPrepare and present overall project status to management and/or the Product Development Council (PDC), tracking progress against schedule, measuring deficiencies that threaten on-time milestone completion, and driving schedule improvementsSchedule, conduct, and complete post-project evaluations (Lessons Learned) documenting how well results were achieved, roadblocks encountered, and improvement opportunitiesApply the Quality Improvement Process and Lean principles to the role, identifying improvements or deficiencies and collaborating to develop tools and best practices for project management and executionWHAT YOU BRINGMinimum two years' experience managing $100K+ projects using MS Project (or equivalent) for program/resource tracking, including variance reportsMechanical aptitude and knowledge of a manufacturing environmentAbility to read and understand engineering drawings and BOMs; experience with MRP/ERP systemsExceptional planning and organizational skills; detail orientedStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; treats change as a positive challenge and translates it into opportunitiesDemonstrated competency in creating presentations, with the ability to confidently present and interact with all levels of the organization; strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and a professional attitudeDemonstrated ability to build and lead teams and attain cross-functional consensusProficient with electronic systems and software (Microsoft Office, project management software, etc.)Willingness to be flexible in schedule and to travel to evaluate product performance in the field and ensure customer value is deliveredWHAT SETS YOU APARTBS in Engineering or a related technical disciplineProject Management Certification or degree (e.g., PMP or equivalent)WHAT WE OFFERBuild A Better CareerCompetitive compensation with performance-based incentivesCareer development programs and internal promotion pathways—we build from withinTuition reimbursement and continuous learning opportunitiesBuild A Better FutureComprehensive health, dental, and vision coverageRetirement savings plans with company matchLife insurance and disability coverageBuild A Better YouPaid time off, holidays, and flexible work arrangements where applicableEmployee Assistance Programs (EAP) and wellness resourcesInclusive, team-oriented culture where people look out for one anotherBuild A Better WorldJoin a company whose products contribute to a safer, more sustainable built environment every day.IMMIGRATION SPONSORSHIPThis position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
