Inspector

Job Title Davis Furniture is a family-owned high-end furniture manufacturer who is a leader in contemporary contract furniture. Sales are up, so we are actively seeking a new inspector to join our team. This position will be responsible for quality inspection of assembled products within our plants. Requirements Must be at least 18 years old. Be able to read work orders. Maintain daily records manually of types of defects identified. Inspect finished surfaces for quality assurance, ensuring they meet company standards. Assist in repair of minor quality defects by steaming, heating, regulating or making minor adjustments. Periodically assist in special assigned projects as needed. Maintain reliable attendance. Work as a member of a team. Follow safe work practices. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
