Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of PCU experience required License: Must have an active state license upon submission Certifications: ACLS, NIH Must-Have: - Ability to work in multiple locations during the contract - Experience in IV start, telemetry, phlebotomy, and a-line - Flexibility to float to various units based on census needs Description: Registered Nurses in this role will primarily be assigned to a float unit. Candidates must be comfortable working across multiple locations. The float pool may require staff to float to a new unit focused on cardiology and neuro skills if activated. Patient ratios vary by unit. Documentation will be completed in the designated electronic health record system. Schedules will be received two weeks in advance. There will be no self-scheduling or blocked shifts. Staff will receive a notification two hours before each shift regarding their assigned location. Nurses will float within the hospital and potentially to nearby affiliate hospitals based on patient needs. The requirement includes having strong clinical skills in various patient demographics and diagnoses. Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic work environment.
