In this role, you will identify dangerous objects in baggage or on passengers and prevent prohibited items from being transported onto aircraft.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesScreen travelers in conjunction with TSA regulationsSearch for weapons, drugs, and other prohibited itemsIdentify and prevent security threats using screening techniques and equipmentProvide customer service while educating travelers on TSA policiesMaintain efficient passenger flow through screening checkpointsMonitor and control access to checkpointsReview passenger manifests against watch listsConduct aircraft, passenger, and baggage screeningsCommunicate security concerns with supervisorsMaintain a professional presence in a fast-paced environmentPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsMust be 18 years or olderHigh school diploma or GED requiredMust pass drug screening and federal fingerprintingMust comply with DOT drug and alcohol testing requirementsReliable transportation requiredReliable phone number and email requiredMust be able to read, write, and speak EnglishAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to lift, carry, and/or hold 50 pounds or moreAbility to bend, squat, stoop, push, and pull throughout shiftMust maintain a professional appearance at all timesMust complete all required trainingWork environment includes indoor and outdoor conditionsDress Code / Uniform RequirementsUniform shirt will be providedEmployees must provide:Black pantsBlack shoesNo facial piercingsNo visible tattoos below the wrist or above the neckMust maintain a clean, professional appearance #J-18808-Ljbffr Huntleigh USA Corporation
