Registered Veterinary Technician

Worthington Woods Animal Care Center is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join to our fun, hardworking team. What does this role entail?

• Provide excellent patient care during surgical and dental procedures - including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs.
• Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity.
• Collaborate with your team to support the veterinarian's orders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Schedule: This is a full-time position, with a flexible schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday. This position also requires rotating Saturdays and one Sunday per month.

Full-time benefits and compensation**:

• Compensation: $25-30 per hour, for each hour worked*
• Bonus package: $2,000
• CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 5+ years of veterinary technician experience
• Active and good-standing Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of Ohio**
• A good human who is kind and knows how to play well with pets and people
• Dedicated professional who takes pride in their work and seeks to provide a memorable client experience with each appointment
• Strong communicator with a desire to foster lasting relationships with clients, their pets, and other WWACC team members
• Willingness to continually learn, grow, and improve
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Surgical set up and assisting
  • Anesthesia maintenance and monitoring
  • Inpatient care
  • Intubation
