We currently have multiple opportunities in our Athens Paint department as a Production Manager. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate the activities of a production line, prepare schedules, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. What you will do: Supervise and direct the daily activities of production line workers, assigning tasks, ensuring coordination between different teams, ensuring their safety and monitoring their performance. Train new hires, manage scheduling and work conflicts, monitor safety, and promote internal communication to create a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Partner cross‑functionally with other departments to prepare, maintain, and update documentation related to operating procedures, safety and quality standards. Collaborate with other Production Managers in continuous improvement project for the facility. Determine and execute disciplinary action when appropriate. Lead the creation, implementation and training of standard work procedures. Initiate and conduct process improvement dialogs with Team Leads and Team Members. What you will have: Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems. Performance Management: Knowledge of successful performance management techniques; ability to apply organization's performance management system, practices, and tools to developing and improving individual, team, and organizational performance. Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations. Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way. Top candidates will also have: Experience managing teams to production, budgetary, and efficiency targets. 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment or other similar roles including the military. Experience with powder coat systems, liquid paint systems, pre‑treat chemical application, shot blast operations. Experience in multiple manufacturing support disciplines. Six Sigma Greenbelt. Salary: $81,370.00 - $122,060.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
