Lathe Machinist

Job Title: Lathe Machinist Job Description This role focuses on setting up, operating, and maintaining multi-axis CNC lathe machines in a precision manufacturing environment. You will perform tool changes and offsets, edit and troubleshoot CNC programs using G and M codes, and work with a variety of materials including steels, aluminum, and plastics. You will ensure the highest quality standards by inspecting your own parts using precision measurement tools and consistently meeting tight tolerances. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and maintain multi-axis CNC lathe machines for production runs. Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity. Edit and troubleshoot CNC programs using G and M codes to optimize performance and resolve issues. Work with a variety of materials including steels, aluminum, and plastics to produce precision components. Inspect and verify dimensions of machined parts using microscopes, micrometers, comparators, gauge pins, thread gauges, and calipers. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
