Design Engineer Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Design Engineer to join their team! Join an innovative team where your expertise in SolidWorks will be pivotal. As a Design Engineer, you'll bridge the gap between design and production, ensuring models and drawings are ready for fabrication. This is a 6‑month contract‑to‑hire opportunity, offering a chance to work on diverse projects and make a significant impact. Compensation $38 - $42/hour, depending on experience Location Overland Park, Kansas Key Responsibilities & Duties Utilize SolidWorks for advanced modeling and toolpaths Collaborate with project managers and production staff Uphold quality standards and accountability for projects Communicate professionally with clients when necessary Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, or Mechanical Engineering 3‑5 years of experience in Design Engineering Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks Ability to read architectural plans Strong verbal and written communication skills Nice to Have Skills & Experience Experience with structural metal, sheet metal, or plastics 3 different medical health insurance plans, dental, and vision insurance Voluntary and Long‑term disability insurance Paid time off, 401k, and holiday pay Weekly direct deposit or pay card deposit If you are interested in learning more about the Design Engineer opportunity, please submit your resume for consideration.
