Maintenance Manager

Position Overview As the DC Maintenance Manager, you will lead a skilled team of technicians and Maintenance Area Managers to keep a fast-moving distribution center running at peak performance. You will be the driving force behind equipment reliability, building integrity, and safety standards across multiple shifts. Shift Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Day in the Life Oversee repair and maintenance of equipment, assign work orders, and prioritize safety and production-related work. Assist maintenance associates with diagnosis and repairs when necessary. Manage preventive maintenance programs, ensure schedules are adhered to, and minimize downtime. Establish methods and procedures for departmental activities; identify and resolve operational problems. Supervise, interview, orient, train, evaluate, and develop Maintenance associates across multiple shifts. Ensure building, grounds, and equipment are cleaned and maintained on schedule. Oversee the facility’s waste disposal program and comply with regulations. Interact with DC management to ensure maintenance needs are met and tour facilities to verify condition. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required). 5+ years of maintenance and supervisory experience (preferred). Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance practices, safety procedures, and engineering-related programs. Analytical ability to gather, interpret data, and implement solutions. Management leadership, communication, organization, and administrative skills. Proficiency with personal computers and related software. Ability to read and interpret policies and procedures, update systems, and operate within the Distribution Center. Flexible schedule and ability to access all areas, including mezzanine platforms. Capacity to lift and move boxes weighing 40 lbs. or more and stand for extended periods. Bi‑lingual is a plus.
