Forklift Operator – Stand-UpThe Forklift Operator – Stand-Up is responsible for operating stand-up powered industrial trucks to safely transport, stage, and store materials within the warehouse. This role supports high-volume logistics operations by ensuring accurate inventory movement, efficient material flow, and adherence to safety and quality standards.What will you do:Operate stand-up forklifts such as reach trucks and order pickers to move materials within warehouse aisles and rack systemsPerform daily equipment inspections and document any safety or maintenance concernsAccurately scan, move, and place inventory using RF scanners and warehouse systemsLoad, unload, and stage materials to support production and shipping requirementsMaintain proper inventory placement and ensure product integrity during handlingFollow all safety policies, standard operating procedures, and company guidelinesQualifications:Previous experience operating stand-up forklifts (reach truck, order picker) preferredAbility to obtain certification for powered industrial equipmentExperience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems preferredStrong attention to detail and safety awarenessAbility to work in a fast-paced warehouse environmentMust be able to pass a criminal background checkMust be able to pass a drug screeningWork Environment:Warehouse environment with narrow aisles and elevated racking systemsFrequent standing for extended periods while operating equipmentAbility to lift up to 50 lbs as neededExposure to moving machinery and moderate to high noise levelsRequired use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all timesWhy Join Schnellecke Logistics:Schnellecke Logistics is a global, family-owned logistics provider with more than 80 years of experience supporting automotive and industrial supply chains.
