Job Summary: Arconic is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Estimator II to join the Kawneer team in Springdale, AR, supporting the U.S. Building & Construction Systems (BCS) division. Reporting to the Order Pursuit Supervisor, this impactful role is at the forefront of bringing innovative building projects to life by developing competitive pricing and estimates for storefronts, curtain walls, doors, and windows. In this role, you will: Prepares cost estimations for projects and construction plans using customer supplied lists, customer elevations, and architectural plans. Provides exceptional customer service for Kawneer’s clients. Consults with internal teams, clients, sales reps, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues. For example, quote follow-ups, order changes, product related issues, and customer claims. Be a point‑of‑contact on phone inquiries with expectation of 100% response and customer assistance without frequently forwarding calls to other front‑end employees. Essential Knowledge and Skills: Experience in the Construction Industry (estimating, drafting, project management, etc.) Strong written / verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work in a team environment in a professional office setting. Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook and Excel Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to function in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines. Also note: 0% travel requirement. Work Setting & Location: This position will operate in person in a professional office environment in Harrisonburg, VA. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Exceptional Candidates also have: (preferred) Associate or Bachelor degree from an accredited institution 5-10 years of work experience in the construction / architectural industry. 5-10 years of cost estimating experience. Previous experience providing cost estimates for Curtain Wall / Window Wall products. Experience using JD Edwards and / or KaluCAD Ability to visualize design concepts from Architectural Plans.
