This role involves working in an acute care setting where you will provide essential care to cardiac and postoperative patients. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg / Telemetry

• Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Titrate drips and interpret telemetry strips using Phillips monitors
• Care for cardiac patients, including those post-cath and postoperative lung surgeries
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including respiratory therapists managing CPAP and BiPap
• Participate in the holiday rotation and every-other-weekend schedule

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg / Telemetry

• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• Experience with titratable cardiac drips such as Cardizem and Amiodarone
• Ability to interpret telemetry strips
• Royal Blue scrubs
