– Draw quality blood samples from patients, including pediatric and geriatric populations, following established procedures to ensure safety and accuracy – Prepare specimens for laboratory testing in accordance with lab protocols – Explain procedures clearly to patients to create a comfortable and trusting environment – Maintain accurate records and documentation of collected specimens and related activities – Demonstrate professionalism and confidentiality in handling patient information – Support a safe and professional environment, adhering to organizational policies and safety standards – Perform specimen collection and processing duties with confidence and precision, both in forensic and clinical contexts

– Excellent phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patient populations – Ability to work independently with minimal supervision – Strong attention to detail to ensure error-free work – Good communication skills for explaining procedures and fostering trust with patients – Keyboard and data entry proficiency to manage accurate record-keeping – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards

– High school diploma or equivalent required – Phlebotomy certification is preferred; required in certain states such as California, Nevada, and Washington – Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic background is preferred – Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience is required; 1+ years preferred – Customer service experience in retail or service environments is a plus – Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call hours, and overtime as staffing needs demand
