Responsibilities

Claims Examiner processes routine and non-routine claims using established claim standards, and departmental policies and procedures. To accurately evaluate and adjudicate claims in a timely manner and according to set standards. -

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

1. 2-3 years relevant experience in health care claims and customer service.
2. Knowledge of Medical Terminology, Medical Insurance, and must be computer literate.
3. High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Desert Valley Medical Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $21.00 to $27.52. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
