Job Title: CNC Machinist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a night shift position, working from 8 PM to 6 AM, Sunday through Thursday nights. This role involves 50-hour work weeks, with optional weekends. The ideal candidate will have experience in milling and grinding, and will join a high-volume, high-precision shop producing small parts with tight tolerances of (+/-) 10-20 microns, using various types and thicknesses of steel.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily meetings to understand shift requirements and assigned work stations.

• Manage up to three CNC machines simultaneously.

• Perform up to eight or nine tool changes daily across all machines.

• Load CNC machines, pull programs, and make minor edits as necessary.

• Conduct quality checks using micrometers and calipers every 300-400 parts.

• Store completed parts in bins for daily shipment to customers.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 5 years experience on CNC machines, including screw machines or mills.

• Proficiency in reading blueprints with 5 years of experience.

• Experience making edits to existing CNC programs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• CNC programming skills are a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $54080.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
